American Tuna with No-Salt (3.5 oz)

American Tuna

Just the delicious taste of juicy albacore steaks cooked once. With no added salt, this is a healthy treat packed full of goodness.

American Tuna is owned and operated by six American Pole & Line fishing families. With generations of traditional pole-and-line methods being passed down, these fishers source this tuna responsibly and sustainably using one-by-one fishing methods which work in harmony with the ocean. They only fish from the MSC certified American Pole & Line albacore fishery that can be traced back from the can, to the vessel the fish was caught by. All the albacore tuna fished for American Tuna products is then hand filleted and hand packed in Oregon, with a low Mercury count and a high amount of flavour. This tuna is high in Omega 3 with 42g’s of Protein per 6oz serving! Moreover, no water, broth, oil, soy, preservatives, or fillers have been added.

Ranked as the "Best Speciality Tuna" by Bon Appetit, and awarded the approval of "Tuna You Can Trust" by Martha Stewart Living, this is the highest quality canned tuna product you can buy.

Pole-and-line

This fishing method provides the most selective targeting of tuna possible, with minimal bycatch of non-target fish and marine wildlife like dolphins, turtles and sharks. Pole-and-line fishing targets schools of tuna near the ocean surface, and therefore only needs to use short lengths of line on each pole, typically  5-10m.
