The company Actemsa de A Pobra, a leading company in Galicia dedicated to the worldwide import and export of frozen fish, as well as tuna processing, is promoting a new project to build a plant in the A Tomada industrial estate for the transformation of tuna loins. The company indicates that it is a growth project both in volume and in employment, since it will mean increasing the current workforce by fifty workers.

Another aspect highlighted is that the facility, conceived within the activity flows of the factory that Actemsa currently owns in the A Pobra industrial estate, would stand out for its industrial efficiency. It will consist of more equipment and an innovative quality and analysis laboratory that guarantees the control of processes, raw materials and products in order to guarantee traceability and food safety in each of its phases.

The future transformer plant will incorporate artificial intelligence and digitization of products throughout the entire value chain. Likewise, the company emphasizes that the installation will stand out for its environmental sustainability with the incorporation of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.
